Tests Show High Potency and Harmful Contaminants

In Hemp Products Sold by Local Retailers

Tests conducted by Trichome Analytical, a lab that works with New Jersey’s recreational cannabis program, showed that nine of 10 different hemp products purchased from local retailers exceeded the federal potency limit of 0.3% Delta-9 THC, making them illegal to sell in Pennsylvania. Eight of the samples also tested positive for contaminants that would make the products illegal to sell in many state-run recreational programs.
