Offshore Wind Projects Off the N.J. Coast

Orsted’s announcement that it is abandoning its Ocean Wind 1 and Ocean Wind 2 offshore wind projects leaves Atlantic Shores’ Project 1 as the only active project in development near the New Jersey coast. Atlantic Shores also holds a lease area just north of Project 1, as well as an area farther offshore.
