Where Residents Have to Travel a Mile or More to Dispose of Their Trash

More than 210,000 city residents live a mile or more from one of the city’s designated 66 sites that are accepting trash during the municipal-workers strike. Neighborhoods that are far from drop-off sites include Old City, Chinatown, Manayunk, Chestnut Hill, Mount Airy, Cobbs Creek, Rhawnhurst, and Torresdale.
